Here is the kit that was unveiled recently as the new Chelsea Home shirt 2012-2013 season.
The kit features gold theme. This gold theme is "reflective of the Olympic celebration". (Not being funny but this shirt will be used for the season following the olympics and even using it as a celebration doesn't make any sense as, really, Chelsea FC don't have a lot to do with the Olympics. I think this is just Adidas being either lazy or just having bad taste on this one. When I first came across it I thought it was fake so didn't bother putting it up. My bad)
Subtle dark blue stripes also feature through the front of the shirt. The look is finished off with gold piping around the arms and neck. This design detail is repeated through the shorts and socks both of which feature golden three stripes on our famous blue.
The 2012/13 shirt again features the adidas Techfit technology in the playing shirt which is proven to enhance performance.
The below shirt is a previously "leaked" shirt that was one of many different designs. (Which I personally think was better)

What's with the red?!
I am diggin' it! I also think the red trim is a great tribute to the pensioners which have always been associated with Chelsea since the club began.
Check the classic kits and notice the red trim appear throughout the years: http://www.chelseafc.com/page/Classic_Kits/0,,10268,00.html
Yeah I liked the red one but this new one that they have gone with just doesn't seem right. Doesn't look very interesting or nice at all
