Italian Serie A club Napoli have announced that they extended their current deal with shirt manufacturers Macron for another three years.
Napoli are currently enjoying good results in recent years following their demotion to Italian Serie C division after they were declared bankrupt. This season they have managed to reach the round of last 16 in the Champions League however they were knocked out by Chelsea losing 5-4 on aggregate.
The new deal with Macron ensures that Napoli will be provided with their technical sportswear together with a new fashion line for leisure wear.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentis said that they are extremely pleased with the work that Macron have done during the past years with Napoli and for that reason they have decided to extend their partnership.
Macron is an Italian sportswear firm which was founded in 1971. It is currently the sportswear manufacturer of various clubs in Europe, most notably West Ham United, Bologna and Mallorca. It will also become the supplier for Aston Villa and Real Betis as from next season. Unconfirmed rumours are also making the rounds that Italian Serie A club Lazio will announce a deal with Macron in the coming days.
